🧭Visit info
Located right next to Myeongdong, this place vividly reflects the lives of ordinary Koreans. Over 10,000 shops sell everything from clothes and dishes to glasses and imported snacks. But the real charm lies in the 'Alleys'. The Galchi Jorim (Spicy Hairtail Stew) Alley with its dented nickel-silver pots, and the Kalguksu (Noodle) Alley lined with noodle shops, are must-visits for foodies.
⭐Highlights
Galchi Jorim Alley
The narrow alley smells of spicy hairtail stew boiling in nickel-silver pots. Unlimited steamed eggs and fried fish service are a bonus!
Kalguksu Alley
Open the vinyl door to find dozens of noodle shops. Order Barley Rice, and get Kalguksu and Naengmyeon for FREE. Amazing generosity!
Vegetable Hotteok
There's always a long line at Gate 2. Try the savory, crispy Hotteok filled with glass noodles and veggies instead of honey.
