Tourist Spot
Hallasan National Park
1,950m above sea level, walking above the clouds. The mystery of Baengnokdam Crater and the winter snowscape overwhelm the soul.
Jeju · HallasanHighest Peak in S.Korea
🧭Visit info
The mother mountain that created Jeju. The hike to the summit, Baengnokdam, is tough (7-9 hours round trip), but seeing the sea of clouds below makes it worth it. In spring, azaleas turn the mountain red; in winter, snow flowers create a 'Frozen' world. If you're not a pro hiker, take the 'Yeongsil Course'. Eating cup noodles with hot water from your thermos at Witse Oreum Shelter tastes better than a Michelin meal.
⭐Highlights
Baengnokdam Crater
A massive crater at the summit meaning 'Place where white deer drink'. It only reveals itself on clear days. Legend says you need 3 generations of good deeds to see it.
Yeongsil Rocks
Even without reaching the summit (Yeongsil Course), you can see majestic rocks spread out like a folding screen. Enjoy walking above the passing clouds.
