The main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty and the largest of the five palaces in Seoul. Standing before Geunjeongjeon Hall, you can feel the royal dignity. Geunjeongjeon, where BTS performed, and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion floating on a pond are must-sees. Wear a Hanbok for free admission and feel like you've traveled back in time.

Changing of Guards
A colorful ceremony held daily at 10 AM and 2 PM in front of Gwanghwamun. Watch the disciplined movements of guards in traditional Joseon uniforms up close.
Gyeonghoeru Pavilion
A massive pavilion that looks like it's floating on a pond. Used for royal banquets, its reflection on the water makes it a top photo spot.

Gyeongbokgung is **CLOSED on Tuesdays**. (Most other palaces close on Mondays). Check before you go!
