Free Wifi, water, toilets, and finding trash bins.
BASICS★☆☆🆓 All Free📶 Wifi Heaven👋 Greeting
Water and Wifi are FREE
In Korea, you'll open your wallet less often than you think.
At restaurants, you get a bottle of cold water for 'FREE' as soon as you sit down.
Water is given, not bought!
What about Wi-Fi?
It works perfectly in subways, buses, cafes, and even on the streets.
Most are password-free or printed on receipts, so use it freely.
Unlike in Europe, no need to worry about paying for water or toilets.
Korea is a country of 'Generosity'!
Where are the trash bins hiding?
Walking on Korean streets might confuse you.
'Why are there no trash bins?'
It's true, finding a bin is like a treasure hunt.
Instead, you will ALWAYS find them at **Subway Stations** or **Bus Stops**.
Don't panic if you have trash.
Just keep it in your bag for a moment or walk to the nearest station.
Carrying a small plastic bag makes you a pro traveler!
Emergency? Find Open Toilets
Emergency nature call while traveling?
Don't worry! Korea is very generous with toilets.
Every **Subway Station** has clean toilets, and they are free.
Most large buildings and park restrooms are also open to the public.
Franchise cafes like Starbucks often have codes on receipts,
or sometimes they are just open.
Don't hold it in; look for a big building nearby!
Magic Words: Annyeong, Gamsa
It's okay if you don't speak Korean at all.
Just two phrases can make you friends with locals.
When meeting: "Annyeonghaseyo!" (Hello)
When helped: "Gamsahamnida!" (Thank you)
Just saying these two correctly will make
shop owners and taxi drivers treat you much more kindly.
Try practicing them out loud right now!
